  ALL Antiochians should check in with BOTH of the important Antioch College Ohio enthusiast/ watchdog websites, NEITHER of which are controlled or financially dependent upon the Antioch University Board Of Trustees which is currently working actively to shut down Antioch College permanently and plow financial assets resulting from sale and other manipulation of real estate and material assets into other parts of "Antioch University" not part of Antioch College Ohio undergrad school, founded in 1852 by Horace Mann.
   
  The AU BOT will surely pull the plug on the Antioch Alumni Chatline which has been almost completely a force opposing the shutdown the AU BOT has attempted.  
   
  Antiochians may well move into a state of "diaspora" like the wandering Jews of Ancient Israel were froced into when their country and homeland was destroyed and vanquished by the ancient Roman Empire in 79 AD.  Jews stayed together for 2000 years and organized the NEW and newly energized and powerful State Of Israel, in spite of Roman efforts do destroy the ancient country, people, and culture.
   
  Antioch College alumni must do the same.  Stick together.  Utilize OUTSIDE and INDEPENDENT communications media and gathering places to CONTINUE to network and provide mutual support....KEEP THE ANTIOCH COLLEGE DREAM ALIVE!
