This does have the stench of "negotiation by press release" about it, a tactic which, it seems to me, we've seen before from this crew. But if it's all settled and done, why are negotiations ongoing? If the board is unanimous that it cannot uphold its fiduciary obligations to the college without sinking it, why should they still be talking to the ACCC?

Hey, if nothing else, it's succeeded in getting Gerry and Lesley on the same page.
