[Alumni-chat] A Statement from the ACCC in Response to Today's Univ. Announcement

"Today's announcement by the University contains only one piece of new
information: that the two parties have not yet reached an agreement. The
rest of the announcement simply restates what was already a matter of public
record: that the University does not intend to operate the College beyond
June 30, 2008, and that it is open to negotiating an agreement that would
enable the ACCC to continue operating the College. Those negotiations are
ongoing, and we look forward to receiving a proposal from the University
Board of Trustees outlining what it sees as the next steps towards an
agreement. We appreciate that everyone is understandably anxious for more
information, and we will provide further updates as soon as possible."
