Hi from Yazz Allen, Forever Young Antiochian! (Complaints answered OFF LINE only at YazzAllen at Yahoo.Com):

Al Berney grew up in Baltimore MD USA and went to Antioch. So did I. Good Baltimore MD USA high schools, both public and private, have sent many to Antioc over the generations.

My Dad was considered the best dressed Private Detective (really!) in Baltimore MD USA, and THAT was because my Dad got his (expensive) suits at Issac Hambergers Men's Clothing Store, the "Brooks Brothers Of Baltimore" rightfully admired.

Al Berney was SMART.

His summation of the AU BOT, Arthur Zucker headed, scam to grab Antioch College real estate assets do a "corporate raid" tactic on a non-profit institution was right on the money.

Berney's last words about Antioch quoted on this chatline are sadly and chillingly dead accurate:

"Real Estate. They want the real estate."

The words of this wise now departed Antiochian should be heeded.

The move to leverage Antioch College real estate and assets in a school destroying action must never be forgotten or forgiven.

No matter how the current, uncertain, situation plays out, whether the bad guys win or they don't, the bad guys (every single member of the BOT, especially the assassin, turn coat Antioch College alumni on that board) must be consigned to a newly created and perpetually kept up ANTIOCH COLLEGE HALL OF SHAME, and their (AU BOT of 2007) crimes and contempt intelligent Antiochians of all generations have and had for the AU BOT of 2007 should be publicized far and wide, into the distant future.
