Hi from Yazz Allen, Young Forever, even if others object to that ambition! (Contact me OFF LINE if you have gripes and I'll get back to you...NO pissing matches from or with meon this chatline, thank you all very much...YazzAllen at Yahoo.Com):

Here some WONDERFUL ideas about PR for Antioch.

PR was one of my day jobs years ago to support my movie actor work. I worked as a Warner Bro. movie publicist and got VERY good at it. My advice re: PR is worth taking.

Antioch should SPEND MONEY to MAKE MONEY and use both ANTIOCHIANA and the return of the ANTIOCH INN RESTAURANT to grow the college and make friends and impress people (THAT is the point of PR, always!):

Antiochians needs money....much more than it gets. That should be considered a PR investment by the Trustees and others who control the school's pursestrings.

Scott Sanders is over worked and the whole Antiochiana operation doesn't have adequate money or resource. Needs more.

It's a GREAT PR thing for Antioch if anyone would use it that way and pay attention, which they don't.

Antioch ALSO needs to RE-OPEN the "Antioch Inn" as a classy restaurant (it was when I was at Antioch...had table clothes, formal waiter service, jazzy appetizers and deserts...students could use meal tickets also used in the Caf, but had to dress up..there were [and should be in the future] fancy DRESS STANDARDS for the "new Antioch Inn." Jackets and ties for guys. Skirts and dresses for gals. No bad manners permitted or the bouncer throws naughty Antiochians OUT!

Locals used the Antioch Inn for a place to go, and the college got great PR out of it....it (the INN) nulified a lot of the bad feeling about student problems the community didn't like.
