That would be a forum glitch -- totally unrelated to formatting of emails, unless the post originates from the forum (but even then, different issue)..
the duplicate posts are due to a bug with the mail-bridging..which we have not solved yet, but try to keep on top of manual clean-up as much as possible..  

You're versed with the "report" function to let admins know when there's a problem -- that helps.  :)
