>Update 9-24-07
>
>Up and running: crash fundraising plan. In record time, Antioch College staff members and alums have crafted a plan to raise big money for the College Revival Fund. It will run for six weeks -- until the October meeting of the Antioch University Board of Trustees. Even before the plan was designed, alums raised $12 million in cash and pledges.
>
>“Under the plan, Antiochians across the country will visit identified potential donors who have expressed an interest in helping Antioch College continue,” explains alum Mathew Derr, who has taken a leave of absence from his job in Boston to volunteer as a full time fundraiser.
>
>Risa Grimes of the Antioch College Development office designed the effort along with staffers Fred Krauss, Aimee Lunde Maruyama, Wendy Ernst, and April Ratliff. They were assisted by Derr and alum Ina Frank.
>
>Grimes is now coordinating the effort and dispatching the Antioch teams.
>
>“The plan is designed to face the immediate emergency,” Derr says, “it’s not a full scale program. But with Risa and her team on the job, we’re all in great hands.”
Rowan - can you get me any further details on this? It sounds great and I'd like to give as complete an update as possible to our NY and NJ alums during our chapter meeting this Friday 9/28. I'm guessing there might be a few of the potential donors mentioned above that live in the NYC area, and perhaps we can be of help.

Thanks.
