MI/OH Antioch Alumni Chapter Meeting

When: 3-5 p.m., Sat., Sept. 29, 2007

Where: Pittsfield Township Administration Building, 6201 W. Michigan Ave., Ann Arbor MI  48108 - corner of Platt & Michigan. Link to a map: http://tinyurl.com/3dhffv - 1/2 mi. west of US-23 exit 34, one exit south of I-94 junction - enter from Platt or Michigan

(Note: There is no University of Michigan home game this date.)

What:

Please save the afternoon of Sat., Sept. 29, 2007. This meeting is in advance of the Alumni Board's
October presentation to the Antioch College Board of Trustees of its plans to maintain Antioch College's uninterrupted operation.

An email will be sent and/or phone call will be made to everyone who provided contact information at the Aug. 19 MI/OH meeting with the finalized arrangements for the event. Efforts will be made to inform as many other alumni in the area as possible. All are welcome.

There are plans to provide a detailed update on the efforts by alumni to keep Antioch College open, and an opportunity for questions to be asked and opinions aired. Also, a slide show and program of excerpts from the Town Hall Meeting presentations by Antioch College students, alumni, staff and faculty to the Antioch University Board of Trustees on Aug. 25 in Cincinnati will be presented. We will also hear a report from the recent Teach-In held at Antioch.

We hope that this meeting will energize others to hold smaller events throughout our Antioch alumni chapter's area. Help in coordinating information for these meetings will be provided.
