deductions when the nonprofit receives standing w/in 15  months or so.



When you complete the form and file it, be sure to send a copy to Sherrod  
Brown and to his district office in Ohio.  Send with cover letter, and  follow 
up with phone call to appropriate staff.  It is my experience having  
incorporated several 501's over the years (and I am not a lawyer) that a  Senator's 
case staffers can walk these things through in a month or less.   For any 
substantial donation you really do need a Federal Tax Number which you  get once your 
501 is approved.
