OMG you said quickie BJ! SS, you truly amaze me!

I have a great deal of interest in Sen Craig's loss of standing and resignation. He has been a strong advocate of keeping BPA surplus revenue in the PNW by way of lower rates for preference customers. The Bush Admin has proposed every year to pull BPA surpluses to Treasury to reduce the federal deficit (read: fund the war).

Also, how refreshing it would have been had Larry Craig said: "I am gay. I have always been gay. I prefer to consider myself bisexual as I do love my wife deeply and find no conflict between that my attraction to men. This is a sad day from me and for Idaho and the Republican Party. See I knew early on that I could never dedicate my life to serve the people of the state of Idaho as a gay man because our society has so narrowed our definitions that a conservative gay man just doesn't register and no one in Idaho would accept it. Much like San Franciscans have been unwilling to elect gay conservatives, just a different emphasis on the adjetive they disagree with. In any event, I have dedicated my life to this state and this Party and it is a sad and shameful day when the state and the Party abandon me in a time of crisis fomented by their own represive ideology and so called "religious" prejudice."

Alas no refreshing breeze from Idaho just that sour mothball smell from a deep dark closet.
