Were all the Board members at the meeting this weekend? Any idea of
who wasn't, and how many weren't, there?

>While our hope was simple, the continuation of
>operations at Antioch College, the details on how
>that needs to happen is not. It is my understanding
>that documents are being drawn up and circulated for
>review by the boards. The difficulties came in how
>significant a change this is for the institution- a
>full shift in governance and legal and financial
>responsibility. If we simply said "here's the money,
>continue operations", that decision is a simple one,
>and doesn't require negotiations of responsibility.

>The board has a conference call schedule at 5pm
>Tuesday evening, which is apparently the first
>opportunity for board quorum. There are many legal
>details and agreements to be hammered out. And lawyers
>that aren't on negotiating teams don't work for cheap
>on weekends.. :)
>
>Not to say I agree with the need or the delay, because
>I believe if they'd gotten the vote to continue out of
>the way it would be 1000% better to the health of the
>institution, but I understand for some needs time to
>draw up documents is required.
