Hi from Yazz (David) Allen '66 (YazzAllen at Yahoo.Com)!

I am unable to obtain any sort of clear report about what, exactly, happened yesterday, Thurs. Oct. 25, 07, in Yellow Springs, Ohio where the Antioch University Board Of Trustees met and the Antioch Alumni Board was to plead the case for reversing the wrong and outrageous closedown decision announced by the AU BOT last June 12, 07.

What happened? What's expected to happen? When?

I did receive the mass emailed "newsletter" from the Antioch Unviersity BOT with a detailed message from AU BOT Chairman Arthur Zucker '55. His message did not offer the smallest indication he or the AU BOT plans to back down from the closedown decision.

People in Ohio who attended the events yesterday, and will this weekend should post clear information about it all on BOTH the Alumni Chatline and the Antiochians.Org site, which I understand are no longer connected and interlocked, possibly due to some technical breakdown.

Will the closedown decision be reversed? Will an announcement one way or the other be made by the AU BOT? When? Where?

Thanks for help from any Antiochian or friend of Antioch who reads this and can help update Antiochians NOT in attendance at the Oct. 25-28, 07 "Homecoming/ AU BOT Meeting" event.

  Best,
  Yazz (David) Allen '66
