And actually speaks nothing of *admissions*, i.e.  accepting
those who seek us out and still want to apply knowing  our
situation.



I really have to wonder about this argument.  Honesty is about being  able to 
make an admissions offer based on a valid and solid assumption that the  
institution will be around for four years, and able to provide a student what is  
necessary to complete a degree.  The unwillingness to recruit 17 and 18  year 
olds at this juncture is about not being capable to honestly warrant  that.  
And this is why we need, as soon as possible, to evolve the College  Board of 
Trustees, with control over hiring, curriculum and finance -- because  you have 
to control those things in order to warrant an admission.  It is  why you 
have to carefully work with the Ohio Board of Regents and North Central  to get 
their stamp of approval on the College Program.  That is going to be  much more 
than a formality.
