[Alumni-chat] Forum Migration

Greetings,

The forums will be undergoing some changes soon.  No posts should be  
deleted in this endeavor, but we will be consolidating some of the  
areas in an effort to make transferring to the new forum software go  
smoothly.  All moderators will be reset to normal access in the short  
term.  Please let us know once the dust settles if you would like to  
help out by moderating.

Some of the new things  to look forward to include an events calendar,  
karma ratings, rss feeds, embedded media, and lotsa love!

The current plan is to freeze access to the forums Sunday night  
(November 18th) then migrate the data, then unfreeze in the new  
environment.  This will probably take a couple of hours to do.  As  
always any problems you run into should be directed to forum at antiochians.org 
  where the incredible forum mistress Alicson and her happy minions  
will fix all.

The mailing lists will still be active so communication can still  
continue there.  In the meantime there are lots of excellent places to  
go to get your info fix.  Go read the The Record or the Blaze or get  
an earful at listen.antiochians.org
