[Alumni-chat] The numbers don't add up

What a tragedy. I hope that a man on a white horse rides to the rescue before it is too late for Callie and all the others. The University has not even tried to tell us what it would take to save the College. Or have I missed something? My take is that the die is cast.

Callie.and others..these are not layoffs there are eliminations.

Sorry to be so self absorbed...this is the price for decades of
less-than-stellar governance structure.

It hurts..terribly...although the rest of the University is overwhelmingly
corporate-ish we are still somewhat
of a real (and sometimes fractious) community.    Many of us care deeply
for each other...Duffy
