If Duffy's quote of the number of alums is correct (17000) then an average contribution to the endowment over the next two years of $2000 would yield $34,000,000. If this will save the ship from sinking I will go on record with a pledge of $1,000/yr. No fooling. Bob '50.

Subject: Re: [Alumni-chat] Fwd: Antioch's financial history
Does anybody know who the "Gateway Group" mentioned in one of the documents
is? I tried googling, but the most likely candidate seems to be an
organization that states:
"Our focus on manufacturing and petrochemical industries, has established
Gateway as a leader in the delivery of technologies and strategies for
design and engineering collaboration on a global scale."
Aside from being nearly impenetrable business-speak, the description doesn't
leave me too confident in placing our trust in these folks.
