Hello, all,
The Antioch University Trustees and the ACCC continue to negotiate
about the future of the College even now, after the announced
deadline for reaching agreement -- Commencement Day, which was
yesterday -- has passed. The two groups are to talk tomorrow night
(Monday), and evidently that conference is considered the new
deadline. See the New York Chapter e-mail below for more info.
The local alumni group meeting planned for this Tuesday, April 29,
will therefore give us an opportunity to exchange the very latest --
possibly final -- news, talk over our individual responses to it, and
decide what our group response should be.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 Tuesday, at Masha Etkin's house, 10
Copley Street, Brookline. We'll share a take-out Chinese dinner and
then get down to business. Please let me know -- or remind me! -- if
you plan to come. Mike Brower has room in his car for three more
people who are coming from or via Cambridge -- so e-mail him
(<mbrower32 at comcast.net>) ASAP if you'd like him to pick you up.
Regards,
Barbara
